If you’re tired of the usual suspects every holiday season, then Elf the Musical tickets are for you! The news that the musical, inspired by the Will Ferrell movie of the same name, is coming to Broadway for the holiday period in November 2010, so be ready for the Elf the Musical schedule, and fun and games. The run will be a limited one, though, so Elf tickets will be thin on the ground. Don’t let your hesitancy ruin your holidays – buy Elf the Musical tickets now and be prepared to laugh your socks off, and maybe even cry a little.
The Elf the Musical plot is based on Buddy, a little boy who accidentally climbs into Santa’s sack and is transported back to the North Pole with Santa. There, he grows up with the elves in Santa’s Workshop, unaware that he is in fact human. Finally, Buddy must face the truth about who he is, and he sets off for New York to find his family. This touching musical was a smash hit as a movie, and there’s no reason why Elf the Musical tickets won’t do just as well. Casting is yet undecided, but the creative team behind the venture is looking very nifty; Matthew Sklar and Chad Beguelin of the Wedding Singer will provide music. Thomas Meehan (The Producers, Hairspray) and Bob Martin (Drowsy Chaperone) have written the book. Meehan and Martin are both Tony Award winners. Spamalot director Casey Nicholaw will direct. All in all it’s fair to say that Elf the Musical tickets will be well worth their price!
