When Buddy – the hero of the story, played by Arcelus – crawls into Santa’s sack, the adventure begins. Your kids will wonder as Buddy is whisked off in the flying sleigh to Santa’s Workshop, where the elves are constructing presents. Buddy is taken to be an elf, but after living a life of deception he is forced to admit that he is really a little boy – and that’s when Elf tickets really come into their own. Buddy’s subsequent trip back to New York City, and his attempts to rebuild a life with his father are what really gives strength to this musical.
