The best thing about Elf the Musical is that it doesn’t take itself too seriously while doing as well as anything else on Broadway right now. There is a clear message, and that is, don’t worry, be happy, and above all be genuine. People will always respect that. When the central figure, Buddy, announces that he isn’t who they think he is, it opens the door for him to embark on a journey to re-discover his true self. And what a trip it is, too! Don’t be surprised if you see little kids jumping up and shouting to the performers, or adults almost moved to tears by the story. Elf the musical tickets are all that and more.
